School Based Support

Consultation

COMPASS BCBAs partner with schools to provide targeted, evidence-based support that benefits students, staff, and the entire school community. Whether working with individual learners or helping shape school-wide systems, our goal is to equip educators with the tools and strategies needed to foster positive behavior, skill development, and academic success.

Types of Support We Provide

1. Consultation
We collaborate with administrators, teachers, and support staff to identify challenges, develop effective behavior plans, and implement solutions that work in the real-world classroom setting.

2. Evaluations & Assessments
We conduct a range of assessments—including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developmental evaluations, and social skills assessments—to pinpoint needs and guide targeted intervention strategies.

3. 1:1 Student Support
When needed, our BCBAs work directly with students to address behavioral, social, or communication challenges through individualized interventions designed to promote success in the classroom.

4. School-Wide Trainings
We deliver professional development sessions for educators and staff, covering topics such as positive behavior support, classroom management strategies, social-emotional skill building, and data-driven instruction.

5. Paraprofessional Development & RBT Training
We train school paraprofessionals in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), providing the knowledge and skills to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). This not only strengthens student support but also builds capacity within the school.

6. IEP Support

We support special education teachers with adaptations and modifications to academic goals and objectives.

Why Partner with a BCBA?
By integrating ABA expertise into the school setting, we help create a more supportive, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Our approach empowers educators, builds staff confidence, and ensures students receive the targeted support they need to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.
